Snow Removal Piling snow along the road and shoulder and/or pushing snow across the road obstructs the vision of motorists and is in direct violation of Public Act 82 of 1978.
The act states: “A person shall not deposit, or cause to be deposited, snow, ice or slush on any roadway or highway.”
All property owners and persons hired to remove snow are responsible for maintaining safe traffic conditions and preventing careless snow removal.
